Sounds like this might be fixed the new beta:

"Fixed a bug that prevented certain units (e.g "ms") from being displayed in an Audio Unit's parameter value text."

Hm, this doesn't sound like the one I was referring to. However, it shows there are are still several things not working as they should when trying to control 3rd party plug-ins. :(

Can confirm the VST bug is still there in 9.7.1b1 :(

Would be great if everyone that reads this can submit a bug report to tech support.
The more noise we make, the higher the priority to fix this :D

Basically the problem is that the displayed parameters on Push sometimes go out of sync with the control on the VST

This happens with or without Ubermap, so it would benefit everyone that uses VST's

Nice :D

Lets hope Ableton fixes this soon!

BTW one work around is to change the currently displayed bank to another bank, then back and the display will refresh.

Yes, if they expose the parameters to Live. Anything you can automate, Ubermap can see generally speaking.

In my case the bug was confirmed too by the (very friendly) support agent which, according to him, bumped its priority. However, no further details about if or when it would be resolved could be made.

I got pretty much the same answer (minus the bump in priority). Hopefully more people are filing it as a bug and fingers crossed it gets fixed in the next round of betas :D

Has anyone got Ubermap working with the official 9.7 release? Having trouble with most of my .cfg files, the bank names are showing up on Push 2, but it says "no parameters found". Just wondering if this is due to 9.7 or user error?

Yea something is weird, old configs look broken. I started rebuilding a new one, and it worked through the first few changes... maybe some of the names are reported differently now?

Edit: I reloaded some old configs and certain values defo have different values now. I redid about 10% of one and it worked as expected.

Cheers, will give that a try. Is it just due to some of the original parameter names in the .cfg files being different in the new version?

Thats my uneducated guess! If you were able to find the ones whose value has changed, and correct/delete them I bet that would work too.

I contacted support and got confirmation from them (many months ago).

It would be great if everyone here could report it to tech support so that it will be fixed by Ableton.
I confirm that! I have this bug since bought push 2 and use live 9.6.x. I also reported this to support and they answered me that it will not be fixed because not enought reports!

If somone reproduce this bug please do not be lazy and contact with ableton support that they increase priority of this issue.

They asked you? Could you clarify, please? Thank you.
