User mode knob value question
Hey guys, just noticed in user mode when i map a knob to lets say a send, the value seems to change in high increments when turning anticlockwise as compared to turning clockwise. Not sure if its because i'm using beta 9.7 or not
Re: User mode knob value question
On the bottom left corner when in mapping mode on the computer monitor, Live displays the 'type' of midi control that it thinks you are using.
Sometimes if you flick the knob quick in a weird way, it does not always tell Live enough to guess the right control choice. If you keep moving it a bit you can sometimes see it change to some other type. From there it is trial and error. Once you have the correct one you can just remember that and I think it lets you choose using a mouse if Live doesn't guess correctly.

I've noticed this issue as well. Just picked up a Push 2 weeks ago. Not sure, if it's always been like this.
One of my Arturia controllers had this Relative vs Absolute mode option for knobs which displayed a similar response. Is there such an option on the Push?

I never noticed that display, thanks for that i tried a few and found the relative (2s comp) to work, it seemed i had to remap all the knobs individually and change it to this setting.yur2die4 wrote:On the bottom left corner when in mapping mode on the computer monitor, Live displays the 'type' of midi control that it thinks you are using.

just turn the knob to the left when mapping. no need to alter the message type.
