introducing push into my current live setup.. question..?

Post by mrdib » Wed Sep 14, 2016 7:41 am

hi there

Im trying to figure out how I should do this...

I basically want to be able to have some instrument tracks unfrozen so I can play and manipulate them live, as well as clips that are printed and always playing but I'm just not sure how I should navigate on the push safely without stuffing it up as far as playing with automation and leaving other automated parameters ..
Would I have those instrument tracks armed always? do they even need to be armed?

I have a push 1 and am very new to navigating on it in a live environment..halp

try playing everything from session view (not arrangement), if youre not already. copy tracks or parts of tracks into clips. only freeze whatever you have to (for CPU reasons). have fun!
