I just plugged in this https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01J4X ... UTF8&psc=1

and it killed my push 2

it says 12 V 1,25A

bummer
Likely that supply was the wrong polarity. I actually looked and could not see the polarity noted on the manufacturer's website, which is not a good sign. Always ensure that if your device needs center positive, like the Push, then you only power it with a center positive supply. Many consumer devices lack protection for reverse polarity supplies.

Are you 100% sure Push 2 expect centre polarity to be positive? Is that written somewhere on Ableton's site?
Just about to buy a replacement adapter and wouldn't want to fry mine for this reason.

It's printed right where you would plug the power supply in.
The back of the device, right under the port, says: 12VDC 1.25 A
Just above that writing is the diagram indicating center is positive.
I'm in the USA, but I'd expect this to be the same internationally.

It sure would be nice if Ableton would sell these directly on the website, without having to contact their support team and wait for a response in order to get one. Doubly-so since there's literally nowhere else online that you can get a manufacturer-authorized adapter for this instrument.
