NO PARAMETER MAPPED

Push2 with Ableton. I keep getting a screen display on Push2 NO PARAMETER MAPPED. What does this mean?
This is new today, after I had the Push 2 unplugged for a while. I Tried several computer resets.

I know this is a real beginner question, but I have searched everywhere.
It's the simple questions that are hard to find answers to.

That is a good question. No parameter mapped on some MIDI tracks, not on all.
I just switched to a MIDI track, and it says Press Down Arrow to edit playing clip.
When I pushed down then I get the No Parameter Mapped.

It's probably something really simple, I just don't understand how to map a parameter, or what that means...

If its when you uses vst,s then you have to do the mappings your self in most occasions. If its the case look here:
