Cleaning Push

Hello . I just cleaned my push but i used some computer cleaning liquid. now my push surface is sticky. how can i fix that . I think the push surface has some kind of protective painting but i made a mess with the cleaner. Any suggestion is welcome. because now the push is a trap for dust

I would try a VERY VERY lightly damp microfibre cloth, see if that takes some of the cleaning residue off.
