Electric shock felt when I touch Push 2

Hello,

I just received my Ableton Push 2 about two days ago. But since yesterday, when I touch Ableton Push 2 I feel electric shock at the edges of the knobs and corners and near the cable connector spots. This happens even when I am not using the adapter and running Push 2 solely on USB power. Is this because of the humid atmosphere around here or is my Push 2 faulty?

The knobs of push are touch sensitive so will conduct charge from your body. If you have carpet or a fabric seat and you wear denim then it could just be static from your clothes. Otherwise there could be a voltage potential coming from your computers USB.

Try and discharge yourself first before touching push. Touch a metal door frame or tap then try touch push. Also, try have push connected to the plug pack but not USB and see if you still get shocks.

It shouldn't be anything faulty with push, probably just the clothes you are wearing.
