Hi guys...
After trawling through threads and seeing countless "lightshows" I'm still stuck trying to find a way to simply assign the colours of pads. I've set up my user mode to give me control of multiple return routings for live improv. The matrix of what's going where is tricky to keep track of - coloured pads would really help.
It appears the only way one gets colours is by hiding the info in clip's velocity and note info. This seems like a pretty klanky way to go around it seeing as they've made it so easy in live mode. I want to colour different returns uniquely. So 8 rows up which correspond to the 8 across.
Any ideas?
Push 2 USER mode LED assigns?
Re: Push 2 USER mode LED assigns?
Hi,
I use ControllerMate to have shortcuts like "open browser", "show/hide sends, returns"; "group/ungroup" and so on, on my user mode. All I can say is, that the upper left pad starts with G#7, next right is A7, and the colour depends on the velocity (127 is red) but I always struggle with the colours, because the velocity steps seems to be very fine...
I hope, it helps a bit ...
