Push 1 and 2, phantom movement of rotary knobs...
Push 1 and 2, phantom movement of rotary knobs...
Sometimes I am getting the display on Push 1 (similar problem for a friend with Push 2) telling me that a rotary (eg. swing, master vol, etc) is being moved but it's not being touched. Anybody have this issue or a fix for it?

The feedback from the rotary is coming up on screen but the rotary is not being touched at the time. It's a phantom movement of the knob.

And youre sure you don't have anything automated in Live for those channels? Sounds almost like a hardware fault if not.

Pretty sure this is a hardware issue.
I've seen this a few times on P1 and P2, but not a deal breaker at all.
Depends on how often it happens on yours.

I saw this too... my guess is also a hardware issue

This was an encoder issue on my APC40 some time ago.
The fix for me was to use a spray fader cleaner called Deoxit F5. I removed the plastic caps (not sure if Push's are removable or not) gave a quick spray at the base of each post, twisted them a few times and let it dry.
No ghosting going on two years now.

Before you start spraying try changing the usb cable.
I had the same issue and it was cable related

I had a simillar issue. I also had my fingers zapped with electrostatic discharge. Very jittery encoders.
Fix : I connected my laptop to the mains via a grounded plug. The grounding fixed everything.
Although this happens to me only when i have footswitches connected into the ports.
Will contact support after i get my AC power inspected by the company.

Hey guys, have you figured it out?
i have the same issue - new Push 2 and sudden master and swing changes on display (so it's not from the software), and have no pedals attached.
I am with or without AC.

hi there,
i just purchased a push 2 and i'm experiencing the same issues, sometimes the transport bar will start playing. all of this normally tends to happen when i'm using the top knobs to scroll through my library or changing parameters using the top knobs.
