Mix control of drum rack in Instrument rack chain

Is it possible to use Push 2 to mix individual tracks of drum rack when the drum rack is part of the instrument rack?
It is possible to open the drum channels when there is no instrument rack but as soon as I make a chain of drum racks, it's impossible to get into opening the separate channels on Push for mixing.
