What's a good way to use Push 2 to perform music live that combines launching clips and playing instruments over them?
The problem is that at any given instant, the Push buttons do one of two things: They represent clips to be launched or notes to be played, but never both at once. That means that if I want to change which clips are playing, I have to go into clip mode, launch a clip, and then go back into note mode. Is there an easier way?
I guess one way is to hold down the Session button, launch a clip or clips, and release it. Another is to dedicate a second controller, such as a Launchpad, to launching clips. Other suggestions?
