Hello folks,

So this is my issue, I consistently get double hits while recording midi notes using the push 2. This only happens in session view but not arrangement view (I don’t want to perform in arrangement view). The double hits only happen during monitoring but don’t actually get recorded. So this is what I’ve done so far: 1: changed velocity settting and sensitivity to any possible configuration (still happens) 2: changed usb cable is there anything else I should do? Any help would be appreciated...

You probably have the Track In/Out settings turned on in Live's MIDI Preferences. Push 2 should only be active in the Control Surface section.

Yes they are both on but when I turn them off the push 2 disconnect and goes blank.

Are you 16.5 Recording Quantized MIDI Notes? And is the notes editor's preview button (headphone symbol above the piano roll) on when it happens?

You might (!) be hearing the hit plus the note being moved by quantization, just like when you grab and drag a note with the mouse while preview is on.

Thank you much that was my issue I had quantize recording set on which was causing the double hit effect as the notes were being adjusted real-time. I appreciate your help. Thanks
