Hi folks,
New user here, be gentle!
When loading up some drum racks, it's not immediately obvious to me how to adjust the volume of each individual sound (pad)!
The thing is, if i load up a new drum rack, then drag a WAV onto a cell (or pad, whatever you call it), then (under the "Simpler" tab) i have the option to change the gain of that one sound.
However, when i load up some other commercial racks, then i no longer see the same list of parameters under the "Simpler" tab.
So just to be clear, on loading a brand new rack, then dragging in a sample, i see (under the Simpler tab):
zoom - start - end - fade in - fade out - transpose - gain - mode
But in another commercial rack, i see (under the Simpler tab):
zoom - start - end - s start - s length - s loop length - s loop fade - mode
So no GAIN!
So with this second example, i see no way to change that sound's volume, other then by grabbing my mouse and doing it manually in Ableton.
Any ideas?
Individual drum sound volume?
Re: Individual drum sound volume?
You can "unfold" a Drum Rack's nested chains:
https://www.ableton.com/en/manual/instr ... with-racks
Each chain will have its gain fader.
EDIT: Oops, this is "Push discussion" post. I forgot I had opened the "Push discussion" section. Sorry, I don't know how to do this in a Push.
