A way to select armed clip spot without recording?

Post by Octopusbird » Sat Jan 18, 2020 8:55 pm

I'm trying to record a part with a foot switch and in order to do that I have to select a clip spot on an armed track. The only way I've figured out is to unarm the track, select the clip spot, then arm then press footswitch. Is there a better way?

You can MIDI Map the particular clip slot's record button to the footswitch.

Try holding Select and pressing the clip slot (pad). This seems to work for me. Let me know.
