Hey all,
I'm preparing a set to be performed live. I'd like to have my vocal track armed the entire time, but then also be able to switch back and forth to play other instruments. I can circumvent this by setting my vocal track monitor to "IN", but, say I want to record the entire take (eg: for a live performance video I'm recording), I'm not sure how to keep an audio track recording the performance the entire time. Any tips?

…create a new audio track - set it‘s input to your vocal track and the output to „sends only“ (so that it doesn‘t double your vocals) - arm this new track - do arrangement recording while performing live in session view…
i do this with every track i use for playing live…this way i create a multitrack recording of the whole performance incl. mutes, fader rides and so on...
