Map an external midi controller to change root note

Anyone know how to map an external midi controller to change root note in Scales on the push 2 ?

Ditto to changing the scales, I wanna be able to do that via foot pedal midi controllers also, like up/down or jump to and from specific scales and root notes, hands free switching.

I wanna be able to switch to a specific scale with a specific midi button, as well as change to a different scale with a midi button.. instead of having to swipe through with the “trim pot”, I want the chord stuff to change to a different key, while playing so I hit a foot pedal midi button, that way I could jump to specific scales as I please within whatever I got going on. The scaleton thing doesn’t do those things, it’s more like a pre-set and forget thing, which is the opposite of what I need. Also scaleton is outside of the Scales tab which makes things even more complicated. Ideally this should obviously be done within the Scales layout since I have additional scales I need to get to, fast.
