Push 2 is on but not sending midi

Hello forum, I have a problem and looking for a solution... Push 2 is on but it does not send midi. Pads are lit, I can navigate between different channels, add tracks, adjust mix levels etc. but when it comes to playing an instrument, the pads do not work. I tried different usb cables, trying different ports, etc. But no tip I found yet has not worked.

This came out of nowhere; no changes to the system have been made (no windows update, no program updates). My midi settings have been the same and there is no error message under midi preferences. I am just puzzled. I would appreciate your input.

Solved it. I saw a tip saying delete "preferences.cfg" from C:\Users\W_Dervish\AppData\Roaming\Ableton\Live 10.1.25\Preferences .. it worked : )
