Can the red pad lights when recording be disabled?

Post by Wirebird » Thu Jun 03, 2021 9:39 am

When recording MIDI playing the pads, every pad you hit lights up in bright red. Is there a way to disable this? I find it very annoying that after practising a line to record, once I record it everything lights up like a Christmas tree. I see no point to this behaviour, as I can perfectly hear what I play. Pads that are played when not recording light up in green, and I would prefer to be able to disable this as well. Anyone know of a solution?

Nope.
You could patch something in M4L but that would be way overkill.

Thanks. It wouldn't be overkill for me, I have a condition where blinking lights are highly distracting. Most of Push's lights are fairly mellow, and can be customized by using soft colours for tracks and clips. But the bright red lights on the pads when recording are way too much.
