Razer(Belkin) N52 Te and Live

Post by jmouse » Thu Feb 02, 2023 11:20 pm

Hi there.
It has been quite a while since my last post.
A few years back, I started using a Belkin Nostromo N52 speed pad as a midi/key controller for Live… changing scenes, activating effects etc. I found it great for performing live.
When that wore out I went to an N52Te.
I was running Mac OS 10.6.8 up to 10.10, 10.12
So after some of the keys began to fail on the Te, I looked at the razor Tartarus.
Problem was that the Tartarus is cloud based and has no internal memory unlike the Belkin.
So you always need an Internet connection to boot it!
By this time I had upgraded my OS to Mojave. I found another N52Te online hoping it would work.
It only worked in so far as the keys were pre-assigned and I am unable to reassign them.
I realise that the software that originally came with it is not compatible anymore.
So I guess my question is, does anybody know if there is a template or work around that enables me to change the key assignments for the N52Te.?
My system is.. 2013 mbp 10.14.6 Live 10
Appreciate any thoughts…
jm
