Hi. I took part in the same competition, but I decided only on Friday to go for it, so I worked rather intensely over the weekend, and never got around to actually mixing or fine tuning anything, but it was a lot of fun, regardless - just layering and layering orchestral sounds. I literally finished rendering the final movie 10 minutes before the deadline. :D

Are Sonokinetic OK with us uploading our entries publicly before they've announced the winner? (I have absolutely zero aspirations of even being in the ballpark, but I want to play by their rules)

I think you did fine, by the way. I think more time should have been spent glueing things together and make it flow more. It sounds a tad choppy at times, and some of the parts sound like they are much "wider" than others (I've found this to be one of the big challenges of combining orchestral libraries from different producers - making them all sound like one unit).

Ah, OK. In that case, here's my entry:

"Brothers of Honor" - Sonokinetic Media Composer Competition

If you remember, when submitting your piece, you checked the Sonokinetic libraries you used, and I ticked them all. Minimal, Grosso, Capriccio, Vivace and Tutti. Additional libraries used: Symphobia, Cinestrings+Cinebrass, Heavyocity Ensemble Drums, Taleweaver Ancient Crushed Cymbals and Rise&Hit by NI.

It was quite a ride doing this over just one weekend, and I really wish I'd started earlier, so that I could have mixed it properly-er, but it kind of feels good to just roll with it until you're out of time. :)
