First Track - Please give me feedback and help

Post by Dripping Cheese » Tue Jul 05, 2022 2:04 pm

Moin together,

I uploaded my first song and I'm happy to share it with you. I started producing 2.5 years ago and it was a long and rocky road until then. I have no idea which direction I'm going, but I want to produce EDM.

I appreciate feedback and thanks for the help! :-)

Best way to get feedback is to give feedback other users too!

Hey, I had a listen. Good job! I miss some low frequencies on the drop and I feel like the kicks and other instruments are "too MIDI". Maybe you can add some layers to the basses and change the kick with a more effective one. Hope this can help.

Bye

Sounds good, I like it and followed you, too!

I'd put a bit more bass on the kick, it seemed rather hollow. Edit: Like the kick on your track "Back and Forth", that had a little more thump.

I really liked the subdued vocals after 1:00, it would be cool to hear them fully between 2:00 and 2:30, but that's just my humble opinion.

Great job, though!!

Thanks for the feedback, it helps a lot. I will pay attention to it in the next song. I would also like to use real instruments more in the future, so that more "humanity" is added.

Thank you:-)

Hey thank you for the feedback.

I am much happier with the second track!

I still have problems with the arrangement and telling a story, but hopefully that will come.

I'm glad you like it.

See you soon

It sounds pretty good dude! Everyone has their preference with mixing and mastering, so always go with what sounds good to your ears. Good job!
