Okay.... I can only take so much.... Not everyone who buys a computer should decide that they want to be a producer/musician/dj/performer or anything to do with recording. EEEE GADS! :x

Sorry if it looks like pretending to be a producer/musician/dj/ (performer) - as I said 'amateur tracks' - and I'm only brewing sounds at home -

Hi. I listened to your set. Some interesting stuff there. The sound on some of the tunes was quite 'thin' to me. There was some individual sounds/components I liked. The whole thing reminded me of a themed musical/stage presentation. Sometimes your voice sounded like Bob Dylans :D . You have done a lot of work for just brewing tunes at home. No need to apologize for what you do, taste is personal, let others decide for themselves. Keep going, its all a curve of learning.

Hi Seelensack,

I really liked you stuff, man. Experimental, strange...but very interesting, reminds me of Holger Czukay (Ex Can) or similar stuff. It is not perfect, the mix is not good...but this does not matter. You have the right attitude to try something different. Keep up the good work, try to find your sound.

I pretty much agree with what everyone else said except for the one dick- tlennon. He's probably the same type of people going around posting stuff like "how do I sound like [so and so]" or "how does he do this so I can sound just like him" lol.

Anyway, yes it sounds a bit thin but maybe that's just Myspace as they limit the kb? I'm pretty sure. The mix could use some refinement of course, and the vocals are a bit harsh/cold imo. Maybe try a different reverb/setting (reffering to the virtuality track). Keep it up and going, nothing wrong with experimental, trial and error. Hey, that's how pioneers are made.

Oh and I thought that Es gibt track sounded pretty interesting.

 - well I listened to Holger, Damo and Jaki in person - and more of them - in those days - 'cause I'm a very-very old bloody amateur - and if any tune of mine sounds only one percent in this direction - it is too much honor ... btw. I lost my own early tapes from the 80s - sad story.

... and today - the mixing is my big problem - I listen to other tunes and they come much more compressed - I need to learn how to get the best out of the materials.chears

More than one year and many tracks later - I did not stop my experimental DIY-bathtub productions.
Have a look at my tracks again ... most of them only very crude takes.

Hi Seelensack...

wow , I am soo impressed. In one year you created a huge output and finished a good amount of tracks. I only listened to the last two tracks...amazing! You continued to go your way...When I have a little bit more time I will go thru all the stuff. But SALAM is already a burner...I just received my second daughter, so my time is a little bit limited at present. But I will def. come back to you!

Uwe

I like your stuff (listened to your lates couple of tracks), although I'm not 100% on the vocals on 'Fly me to my home planet' :D (IMO that would be maybe awesome with maybe a 'sleepy' female vocal).

Keep going man!
