Re: Trackdriver - "Winter Train Goodbye"
i like the down tempo vibe. it sounds like a track off the ultra chill series of cds. did you sing the vox?
It does drag towards the end. what about a counter beat or some more textures on the beat?

Oh, it´s not me singing. I should have mentioned that it´s samples from Boyz II Men (and Kelly-something I think) that I found on youtube. What is a "counter beat"?

Diggin' it...nice and chill and spacey.
Re: Trackdriver - "Winter Train Goodbye"
Counter beat is just a made up term. Perhaps synchopated rhythm would be better. I mean some small little rhythm that just appears and disappears throughout the track to keep it interesting.

Ah ok. I have read thousands of posts, articles and explanations of synchopated beats but still doesn´t understand what it is. I think I need a drummer sitting next to me playing what is and what is not synchopated. I simply can´t get the grip of it and I really want to.
Anyway, I think you are right that some additional hits would make it less monotone. But that has to wait as I´m fed up with this track for a while
