Created with ABLETON thread!

Post by Halycon » Fri Oct 08, 2010 11:17 pm

I just thought this might be a cool way for producers to share their work! I spend most of the 18 hours I'm awake on Soundcloud checking out new music, and artists, so throw something at me to keep me going. I'd love to hear some new tunes.

Mean while, in reference to this thread title, all this music here was created with Ableton Live! God bless Ableton.

Hey See The Light... "Under the Sun" is SICKKKKKk!! Love it! Whos the vocalist? Sick lyricism, really loved the main hook and bass too. Great contemplative experimental hip hop man. You do anything else like this?

Without wanting to sound facetious, isn't the whole point of this forum to be a 'created with Ableton' thread ?

Meaning, everything posted has at least some involvement (full or partial) with Live.

I don't see many people posting 'Listen to my dubstep completely made in Protools' etc. here, that's for sure !

I dont quite understand what your saying leedsquietman? Why would you be on an Ableton forum unless you used Ableton? I use Ableton for every aspect of writing... and im sure the previous posters did as well, no?

I use Ableton Live, I have been a live user since Live 6 and first demoed Live 5.

Yes, most people on here are going to use Live in at least some aspect of their productions. Some only use Live with nothing else.

However, there are people who use hardware and/or other software as well as Live in their productions. I use Cubase, Soundforge regularly and Renoise and Reaper occasionally, even though I compose everything in Live. Others use Reason, Logic, or whatever, as well as Live.

Hey guys, digging the stuff posted previously.... Check out our new EP on soundcloud here.

Its a blend of electronica, left-field, beat, dub and IDM.... its... a little different to allot of stuff I hear on here (not that the stuff on here isn't banging!)

Sorry, but this thread cannot replace the forum...

It cannot be your goal, that everyone who creates a thread here with his/her stuff will also make an entry in your thread. Or what do you want? What is "outside" Live in your sense? Is there a difference between an external hardware synth and a thirdparty plugin? What about samples? Questions over questions...

I don't think everything on this forum is automatically "created with Ableton", at least my tunes aren't.

But this one is 100% Ableton:
