Rock inspired downtempo track - 108bpm - F Minor

Post by WooDz » Tue Nov 01, 2011 1:37 pm

No one ever seems to put how long they've worked on a track but this was done over 3 days (approx. 20 hours of input)

This was all done on a launchpad

This isn't something I'd normally listen to, but it's an interesting piece (in a good way) and certainly something more productive than I'd achieve in 20 hours! I've left a few comments on sound cloud.

Out of interest how did you use Launchpad? I keep meaning to program some chromatic/scale selective keyboard input with max for live but never get around to doing it!

Thx 4 the comments guys.
This is actually like nothing else I've ever produced.

I solely used the Launchpad.
Literally just set the MIDI-input to launchpad and selected the User1 button on the pad and started making the clips.
No scaling simply found the harmonics by trial and error. Later I put the track through MIK hence the F-Minor.
Track goes really well to Kasabian's - Club Foot.
