Messing with Vocals

Post by som » Sun Jun 23, 2013 12:43 pm

Hi all,

this is my first track with vocals. Not perfect, but the best I could do with the vocals I had. Although the key of the vocals are perfectly in F minor, it feels in several places, that they do not match the rest of the track, wich is definitely F minor. Any suggestions?

Its because your trying to do a Harmony, its cool how how you panned one on the left side and the other one on the right side but i say just keep the vocals from the right side because they work better and bring the track pan back to zero.

Yeah im listening again the harmony again it doesn't work. the Dubstep is great though. I experiment a lot with pitch changing, maybe this can give you an idea. The vocals start at 1:25

Listened to your track. Yes, it sounds great, specially the chopped and pitched vocals. For the Moog bass, did you use Monark?

@Emmanuel: Thanks for your hint. Changed the harmony settings of Intonator in the first verse. Sounds perfect now. Didn't Change it in the Bridge and the second verse, cause it sounds good to me already. Thanks again...
