A rock cover of Tom Petty. Used the Push for drums and bass.

Here's one of my first attempts at making music with the Ableton Push. I recorded my own version of Tom Petty's "Runnin' Down a Dream", from the album Full Moon Fever.

I played all of the guitar parts using actual guitars, but the bass and drums were performed live, in real-time, using Push in the chromatic note mode.

The bass sound is from Native Instruments Kontakt.
The drums are Native Instruments Session Drums.

Enjoy!

Nice to see some creativity at work for once, rather than the typical model of a song cover... Good work! :)

Thanks napakettu and TheNobleNemesis, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I have discovered that the Push is a great way to play virtual instruments in real-time. I like it much better than a traditional MIDI keyboard. I'll be using it to make many more songs in the future! :D
