i went to Brazil last month and came back with a Berimbau. i been playing around with it since then, with a pretty good mic stuck in it and linked up to six loopers in Ableton. I did this tonight and decided to edit it and save it and put it online. You can do a lot with it considering it's only got one thick wire string

last night i made another piece, with different effects, some max for live ones, the Wow and Flutter VSt, and a tube amp sim. pleased with how it turned out. ambient noise acoustic techno?
done in one take. hopefully next year i'll go do it live somewhere

i've done six pieces now and flung them all in a soundcloud playlist. the mrs bought me a padded berimbau shaped bag specially for it for christmas so i figure i'll be trying to do some live performances with it here and there in the new year
