New to Ableton

Post by mreed72 » Thu Sep 24, 2020 4:08 pm

I've been making music as a hobby for about a year (newbie) I've been using FL Studio and I like it's flow, but I wanted to expand my creative potential, so I just purchased Ableton Standard (as a start, really want max4live but can't afford it yet...)

I found the change, as in getting used to Ableton's workflow, to be much easier than I originally thought. I do think Ableton's piano roll is lacking a little, but its light years ahead of any other DAW when working with audio.

Anyway, this is my first attempt at creating something with Ableton. Please leave some feedback and If anyone wants the files for this track to either improve upon or remix, just let me know.

I like your track. Nice progression, sounds and melodies. The only thing I would say is that the fourth chord in the sequence is a little unclear sometimes, it seems like you're moving to 2 different chords at the same time and it doesn't work for me.
