Thank you for nothing

Post by stereomike » Mon May 14, 2007 4:10 am

Thanks for not one person listening to my tracks. I guess everyone is to freekin self abosorbed to lend a listening ear to anyone else's tracks. Which is sadly the case with me as well. Sure I've listened to a few tracks people have posted here, but they were really bad. So I don't waste my time anymore. Anyway I don't think an album is good unless Pitchfork tells me it is. And even though I say I want critisism, I really don't, I just want people to say, "hey man that was an awesome track", so I can go along with my life thinking I'm at least good at something. So in short, "thanks for nothing".
Love,
Mike

maybe try setting up a virb (http://www.virb.com) or myspace page so we don't have to download the files to listen to them...

I'm meant to be working at the moment but I saw your thread and after what you said I thought I've got to listen to one of them and I'm glad I did. Your 'Fight' track is right up my street! Cracking tune! When I've got more time I'll give the rest a listen, nice one. :D

haaha. wow I didn't know my music could be so work disruptive. Awesome. In the song 'Fight' I got the vocal samples from a Bruce Lee documentary. Another song you might like is "Who is the enemy" in which I sampled my shortwave radio quite a bit and chopped up the samples. Thanks for your time, and feel free to download the tracks as well. peace.

I'm sure this was more effective before you said it was sarcasm

I'm digging your music.
