I am running the Live 12 Beta currently.
I have read about an "Auto Arm" hidden feature that you can enable in Options.txt. That said, I am a Push 3 user and the documentation for that option highly recommends Push users not use it.
HOWEVER... it seems that is "kind of" the default behavior anyway in my setup. If no track is armed, and I click on it, or select it with my Komplete Kontrol keyboard, it auto arms.
I say "kind of", because I noticed that it only works if I had a track with "MIDI From" set to "All Ins". That got me poking, wondering if it had something to do with one of my MIDI control surfaces. And sure enough, if I also set "MIDI From" to "From Push", the channel also auto arms on selection.
I presume this is why the Options.txt option to enable auto arm on selection suggests not enabling it for Push users? Because Push is already doing some auto arm behavior?
Track Arm behavior oddities

Tracks auto-arm when Push pads are in Note mode.

And it would be a blessing if we could disable this behaviour.

That is interesting! Seems to not be a MIDI message, either. I tried cascading "FromPush" through a MIDI track to another track and the auto-arm doesn't happen.
