a source you should visit every couple of month, it is also a well maintained site.

emu free sampler, black magic lite (hgsounds), massturbotar, reupcer, granuliser (all by morfiki) dblue glitch, pancake, the tom gersic filters (Hp, lp, bp), omniverb, ambience (I basically love every free reverb out there - there are so many different, a crazy one f. i. is mutant reverb!), buffer override, rough rider, and tons of different delays, crazy ones like bouncy or dubby ones like the one from arc dev noise industries.

my interest is piqued, please list some more of the crazy 'verbs and crazy delays

A real crazy plug is sweet girl blue verb and sweet girl blue verb prosperity, I actually got that one from a friend, but they seem to be unavailable for download these days. theres also cinematic reverb. I´ve quit searching for more of those, but I´m sure there are plenty of weird sounding reverbs out there.

Regarding delays, dfx transverb (delay not reverb), fire by mdsp, bionic delay, echomania, etap delay, tal dub. each one does a different trick.

anyway, the best place to search for plugins is at the tom gersic site, http://plugins.gersic.com/ . Probably not half as many plugins listed as at kvr, but they´re better sorted me thinks.

I've only tried using one VST, this whole recording and DAW is very new to me, so I won't be giving a top ten list. Anyway it's called Aquestone, it always seems to make Abletone crash though, but I love the sound.

A good example of it can be heard in this song; Amethyst Caverns music video, it's being used for the voice in this track. I think it sounds amazing. especially when the guitar kicks in over the top of it.

To top it off, Module (the artist responsible), loves him some Ableton Live.

one guy converted most (all ?) Sega Genesis/Mega Drive VGM soundtracks into OPM format which can be imported into VOPM synth the zip file contains around 10 000 soundtracks

all of these are great. can anyone point me to a really good PROFESSIONAL, NOT FREE reverb? i need the good shit. abletons reverb is too grainy. kjaeurhaus reverb is OK but still not what i'm looking for. please point me in the right direction!!

Damn I sweared to enter this topic when I'll get a valuable list but ...

Aquestone is really awesome, You can manage some sentences and scroll through [only have to respect japanese phoneme>>there's a list for aquestone]

THe only lil buggy thing, when you reopen a previous project, youi'll have to open the gui device again to hear a sound from it.

-Backman _same as reversinator but it bugs when you record the fader from wet to dry effect.
The recording is ok but the playback sucks_ well I always have an audio track to record the result in the case of [or make a sidechain rack to replace the bugged fader]
