Do you trigger these clips to start on a bar for example? (I have an idea I am testing).
Yes and no.

I want to trigger scenes without changing the guitar preset. I would want the guitar preset to be triggered by manual clip selection via session via on Launch Pad. (My hands are already tied up, so doing all that user <-> session changes are impractical) Sometimes, preset change will corrospond to bar or scene changes, but only when I push both scene and guitar preset buttons

Do the music clips (rather than effect) all start when you start a scene?

If they do if I understand your earlier post correctly, how about this.

Ignore session view and use user mode only.

Set up a pad with a midi note for example and use midi learn to assign this note to all the clips in the scene that need to be triggered as if by scene launch.
This can be repeated for each scene.
You then have just one pad to trigger the required clips in the scene.

Then you can do the same on other pads, midi learning them to the effects clips in the relevant scenes that you want to trigger.

This would allow you more flexibility.

I use midi yoke as the midi out on the pad triggering tracks.

I hope you can follow this and it helps.

Hi Goseba,
When I hit "Scene" 1, it triggers the clip on Guitar Input Channel Row 1. It starts when I start that scene.
When I hit "Scene 2", it triggers the clip on Row 2.
When I hit "Scene 3-8", it has no effect on the guitar input (in this example I only have 2 presets, electric and distortion delay)

On the launchpad, Column 1 is the guitar effect selector in session more. Column 2-8 are clips.

I have a User mode, but I do not know how to set up USER mode to trigger scenes while bypassing the clips on Channel 1 and navigate, I'll investigate that.
