APC40 - NativeKontrol apC-VC1 + Track Control

Ok so I got NativeKontrol apC-VC1 and am both delighted and disappointed...
Disappointed that the track control section does not control items that are racked / grouped, this means I can't use Tarekiths EQ's in the track control section
I would much rather lose the 3 EQ3 kill buttons (who uses EQ3 anyway? It sounds like shit!) and have the Pan button select the current (apC-VC1 default (minus the kills obviously)) behavior for the track control section, send A & B select between maybe 2 racks that are dynamic (how this would work I'm not quite sure as you would want additional effect racks in a track to use with the device control section) and keep the excellent snapshot function... which works on whatever of the 3 other devices are selected.
Ok I'm not even sure if this is possible, and if it is (with bomes) I just think that it will be uber hard to do, and a waste of £50 for the full bomes midi translator pro software because I just would never have the attention span to sit down, learn bomes and implement what I want to do (I have the attention span of a *insert something with short attention span here*) Hint: It's taken me over an hour to write this post, and i'm not even sure if it makes sense

Oh and to top it all off, I'm also not sure if this post is a rant, a request, an idea (whether a good one or a bad one) or a cry for help / advice
