I think ableton is working on something big
i just have a tingling feeling that this is the case. the last time there was such absence from ableton folks on here was when they were all too busy workin on live 4 just before release.
I was in Berlin recently and naturaly I passed by the Abe's office, but all I could see was code, code, code and grapes (in the kitchen).
But it would be kinda stupid for a company like Ableton not to be working on the next thing when they are just gaining momentum. They gotta keep it flowing in order to keep growing ...
so, yeah, you're right

That made me laugh.......
Funny enough I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. I think I'd be a little miffed myself as ironic as it sounds, I just can't afford it right now!
Don't swet it though, it's a little soon for Ableton 5, it will be atleast another month or so......
Maybe they are doing two things: A do-it-yourself-kit in a green a plastic bag and black sterile gloves, with which poeple who don't want the Operator demo in 4.1 safely may do a surgery.
And I think they are working hard on writing all code backwards, so that sweetjesus won't be able to peak inside and reveal the Demolator.

in french, there's a type of word/sentence that you can read backwards: "radar" is a basic example, "esope reste ici et se repose" is more elaborate.sweetjesus wrote:this is gonna sound very odd, but i used to get off (not in a sexual sense) in saying stuff backwards.Pitch Black wrote:If they write all code backwards, it'll be susejteews who cracks it
sorry...
To this day I can hear any word or sentence and say it backwards fluently.
but more interesting, there's another type of word/sentence that works when recorded and played backwards. an example is "une slave valse nue". for those who speak a little french, try it, it's fun: record it in a clip, set the clip to reverse, and the sentence will sound almost identical.
