Ultra Analog @ audiomidi.com for $15
Re: Ultra Analog @ audiomidi.com for $15
That sucks with the crashes...
On KVR they're running a poll to vote if Ultra Analog crashes your host or not. So far Live, looks to be the most stable, but after only 31 votes it's about 50-50 for crashes or not, which is IMO is extremely high.
Here's the poll:

Re: Ultra Analog @ audiomidi.com for $15
Sorry guys but I really feel like asking this question : is there any interest in this plug in if we have already the analogue from live? I know it's cheap but once I buy this one, which version of analogue will I load when I need it : thw AAS or the Live's one ?
Re: Ultra Analog @ audiomidi.com for $15
you get the presets and a larger GUI that's not restricted to the clip view area.
you reading this Ableton? give us the freaking presets, stop restricting your plug ins to clip view. that was fine 5 years ago, it's not cute anymore, set the VST free!!!

We couldnt open a really important song after saving it then trying to open it on rebooting up live the next day. It just froze live and we couldnt get access to the parts the song at all. (we had another backup ) See my other post regarding a workaround to recovering the live set.aqua_tek wrote:Snow Leopard.jamief wrote:You running xp ? I am able to open the .als's though. Only crashes Live sometimes at the stupidest moments. Like when I close the ultra analog window after editing a patch. serious WTF.

AND... you get a Standalone mode with an option to record WAV files.
The Ultra version also comes with onboard FX.
You also won't be tied down to using this only in Live.
I look at this as a $15 upgrade from Analog. I wish AAS would offer all their other plugins for $15 to Live users. I wouldn't mind owning LoungeLizard too for just $15.

Yes I checked my spam folder, no serial in it. But they say it may take till 4 days, so I'll wait 1 or 2 more days before contacting them.
thanks
I ordered it for 3 reasons:
- I was fished by the price and forumites comments saying it was one of the best VA plugin at the moment
- I need a replacement for Automat that is kind of a bit unreliable for me, just for the moments I need to work on a song when I'm not in the "studio"
- I don't own analog nor operator, and I'm not that much seduced by my copy of Massive (personnal taste)
thanks

Hahaha, just bought it. Couldn't resist for $15! Got Massive, Sylenth, and Operator...don't really need another, but it's physical modeling and has sub-osc and sync, which I don't have on anything. Sweet for $15!

Gmail spammed the email for me too.. thanks for the headsup

Been using it a bit. Pretty awesome for $15! Quite limited in terms of waveforms, filter types, routing, effects, etc, but amazing sound.

True, in all fields.ethios4 wrote:Been using it a bit. Pretty awesome for $15! Quite limited in terms of waveforms, filter types, routing, effects, etc, but amazing sound.
Despite the numerous crashes I'd been having, it sounds great. Actually finished a track today... using only Ultra Analog and Zebra 2 for the synth parts.

welcome to the clubthe Virus has literally been collecting dust in a corner
I sold my TI one year ago, and I never missed it. Plugs like Automat, minimonsta and UltraAnalog can sound really fat and "analoguish", while being 1000x easier to use. Other synths like the ones in my signature are a real joy to deal with in comparison to the TI, IMHO.
