NI plugins still does not accept any keyboard inputs
Hi guys
I updated my live 6 to live 8 suite.
Don't tell me the NI bug is still there!
If I open Kore 2 and try to type something in the search field, nothing happens.
I have read something about an "options.txt" in order to workaround this bug but I am not willing to do any workarounds for this. In all other DAWs, NI plugins work fine and accept keyboard inputs.

Can someone please confirm that the options.txt fix for this behavior does or does not work in Live 8.04?
I have added the options.txt file containing the command -_EnsureKeyMessagesForPlugins into the Preferences folder, but this has not enabled typing functionality in Kore 2.04.003 w/in Live 8.04.
By the way, I have double checked that the .txt file location and the command itself are correct. Restarted Live, rebooted, etc. with no change.
Any guidance appreciated

It works for Massive. Don´t use Kore so i can´t say if it works there.

Oh for christ's sake has this still not been fixed !!!

MacBook Pro, Mojave, Live 10, Logic Pro X, UAD Apollo & Satellites, UAD, NI Komplete, Izotope, Korg, Audio Damage, Fabfilter, Waves plugs.

It should still be working in 8.0.4 as far as I know. I'm still on 6.0.11, so I can't confirm.convex wrote:Can someone please confirm that the options.txt fix for this behavior does or does not work in Live 8.04?

Re: NI plugins still does not accept any keyboard inputs
apologies for resurrecting the old thread, but I'm having this same problem in Kore 2. I have the Options.txt file, all other NI plugins are getting their keystrokes, just not Kore 2.1, Live 8.0.5

Re: NI plugins still does not accept any keyboard inputs
apologies again for resurrecting an old thread and then wanting it to die silently.
i figured out my problem.
for future reference, when rebuilding a windows system, don't delay unchecking "hide extensions for known file types" in the 'folder options' ... Options.txt.txt will do you no good!
