Here comes my turn.
I would like to have exposed channel EQ strips in the mixer view
like analog mixers do (a High, Mid, Low EQ control).
Of course the Ableton way, no useless graphic, alike Sends are.

Here's my proposal:

Ability to have a configurable free assignable area in the mixer (session view)
like it happens with sends when you add a return track,
so everybody can add there a number of internal mapping and
it can be possible to control an EQ that could reside in the track without
opening track content. It might be stretchable like the meters area or an option.

What do you think?

1. Automation in clips.

2. User definable key commands.

3. "Suspend all follow actions" function.

4. "Zoom Display" placed somewhere useful - i.e. NOT in preferences - and mappable.

5. Multi-display support.

No more effects please. Just focus on making the program stable and efficient.

speaking of mixer improvements, i would like to move a fader up/down simply by moving my scrollwheel up and down while hovering over the selected track, much like in reaper.

Speaking of Session view, I wish that you could place focus on a track by clicking anywhere on that track and not only at the tracks header.. I know most of us use controllers to place focus.. but it would still be nice improvement... Also it would be cool to be able to change focus from device/clip focus to the mixer section and vise versa with the up/down arrow keys on my querty keyboard.

Display of MIDI control data in the arrange view - currently it is very difficult to arrange control data because you can't see it!

More stable midi engine - live hangs/crashes when trying to record lots of midi control data; I end up having to record such data in Logic Pro first because Live can't handle it!!!

woah. there's a lot of fancy requests on here.

My suggestion would be to improve the autofilter with the AAS algorithm. I really love the sound of tassman's filters, I believe it's pretty much the same in Ultra Analog and Live's Analog. We could pick the filter sound in a context menu like EQ8's high quality mode. People who want a CPU-light filter use the standard sound, and people who want a more analog dirty sound the new modes (with the 3 saturation levels like in Analog would be even better)

cheers

ohyeah. its been mentioned in several threads before but just for the record: have the utility to go to -inf rather then -35.

(unless this can already be done)
master / slave follow actions

the idea being that sometimes I have two separate tracks playing one or two bar triads rhythms or layered beats etc.... I would ideally like to set follow actions on one track (master) and have a second track follow exactly the actions of said track(slave)

apology if this can already be done. though if it can't it would be fantastic...if only for me : )

Improved browser, including mouseless clip dropping, and the ability to assign colours to VSTs.

I would LOVE to see an internal LFO assignable to anything. Just thought I'd chime in in agreement with the others. Of course that LFO most certainly would need some random modulation mode with smooth and sharp curves.

Thanks again.
