Closest music store to Margaretville, New York?

Hi All,
I have a friend at Margaretville, NY 12455 looking to pick up an APC.
Can anyone tell me where the closest music store would be to that?
I looked on line but they were all quite far so wondered if anyone might know somewhere closer than 50 miles.

I know the APC is 2.6kg but that is a huge box, +manuals cables etc... Thanks

So maybe there is no closer store than 50 miles...

If you want her to buy it to ship it you, why not just order it online, have it shipped to her, and go from there?

Last year I spent a week one town over in Fleischmanns. It's really pretty there. Nice little rolling green mountains. Tiny little towns here and there. As far as gear shops go, I don't recall seeing any. In fact, there are barely any grocery stores there, let alone music shops.

Her best bet would be to travel into NYC. We've got APC40s coming out of our ears over here. She could order one online. It could be shipped to Margaretville in a day or two. I work for B&H, and we have lots of APC40s in stock. In a couple of clicks she could have one on the way in a matter of minutes:

it's sturdy. no clue how much it weighed, I guess maybe take the weight of the APC and triple that to get a conservative (heavy) guess of the weight of a packed box.

When I was going to ship mine to a winning ebay bidder in Belgium, I put the APC box inside another box that fit perfect with no extra bubble wrap. The shipping was going to be $60 via USPS. I wound up not shipping it to this guy because he had the balls to tell me the shipping was too high after he bid and won. The box was the same box that sweetwater.com used to ship it to me. It's like the same size as the APC box. This way the APC box will not get scuffed up.
