delay in triggering clips?? live performance
delay in triggering clips?? live performance
Hi,,
i am using Live mainly as a host for playing vst/au .
for live performance i need some samples to be triggered.
problem is when i trigger a clip it wont start right away.
Since my band is always playing the song a little different i need to trigger it by hand but it need to be there when I want to.
How can this be done? what am i doing wrong.
thanks

Re: delay in triggering clips?? live performance
Hi, have you tried experimenting with the global quantisation setting up there in the middle top, e.g. setting it to "none"?

Cool. Don't forget that you can set this launch quantisation on a per clip basis too...
Re: delay in triggering clips?? live performance
ok,
Where can i find those settings?
for now the global is all i need, but you never know what the future will bring

In the clip view, show the Launch Box by clicking on the little "L" down in the left lower corner, that shows the quantisation options where you can choose to use the same as the global settings or set a different value for that clip.bartvd wrote:ok,

Re: delay in triggering clips?? live performance
No, I don't think so. But if you've got nothing in the arrangement view, then it makes no difference anyway.bartvd wrote:one more question..
