mlr is a Max patch that acts as a sample manipulator/mangler. There's a few different versions. All are cool.

mlr = basic

mlrV = lots more control over sample manipulation

mlrV4Live = a Max patch that can Rewire with Live. Coolest feature here is that you don't have to manually drag samples to the mlr interface. You hit a button on your monome or Launchpad and an OSC script will automatically take your first 6 audio samples from your Live set and dump them into 6 tracks in mlrV4Live.
