Ok, I think I understand now... TC Electronics only tested it on a couple of platforms and thought, how can we beta test this plug-in on lots of different platforms for free...

Note for Snow Leopard users!
We've experinced a problem with some systems running Snow Leopard.
A preset change will lead to noisy output, and we recommend not to use the plug-in at present time.
We'll look into the bug and get it fixed. To make sure you get the fixed version, sign up for the free version, and we'll send you a mail when the fix is ready.

Ah, cheers for that - that's good news because I really like the sound...

noisy?

I would describe this as a "grainy" reverb (but not as much as 112db's Redline Reverb, which IMO is extremely nice), but that's not a bad thing. Grainy reverbs are useful for sitting well in a mix.
I did feel it sounded pretty nice in the mix, but I had this audible hiss whenever I added it to a track that drove me nuts. it was embarassingly pointed out to me on KVR that I probably had it on a preset meant for using it on a send vs an insert  I'm going to give it another chance tonight.
I don't 'produce.' I write music.

Just in case you missed it, TC Electronic sent out a link to an update for this plug-in today. Might be languishing in your spam folder. Seems to have fixed that mild "destroy your monitors and eardrums" bug that plagued us Snow Leopard users...

I already have two TC reverbs with my powercore element, is this plugin only one of the algorythms I already have or is it a new one?
