Seems like Alex put it in the wrong place,
here it is.
Alex, are you going to provide a lean and mean version for those of us that already own the suite and don't need to install all the content? Kinda like you did with 8.0.8?

"When exporting an video file, the resulting video file would grow on each export instead to be replaced"
I am glad this is solved!

Can I download just the Live 8.0.9 program installer if I already have the 8.0.8 Suite and it's affiliated content installed? Or do I have to download and install the(larger) 8.0.9 Suite installer.
iow- is there new content in the 8.0.9 Suite version that would require the download and installation of the full Suite version?

Come to the point already! - A simple 'yes' or 'no' will do!
Er... wait, no. Does 8.0.9 have anything to do with Launchpad compatibility at all, or is 8.0.8 good enough? According to the
8.0.9 change log, it seems it's mostly about M-Audio devices...?

8.0.9 adds the APC scrolling which either was already in earlier versions for the launchpad or also got added now. On top of that, non-suite owners can currently use some of the suite presets. A lot of presets in the full suite will be updated with 8.0.9 though I don't have any specifics.
Also the library is updated so you can run the AbleTen packs.

Thanks
I guess, though, that the library updates won't cock up my own additions to the library...?

Thanks hoff, that's what I needed to know. I just wish that Ableton would have mentioned this in the change log or somewhere.

I updated and it keeps all my saved preset untouched. I think the update just update or add package, but not delete anything. So your saved preset or stuff are safe.

Question 1: Why 8.0.9 is not advertised on the forum?
Question 2: Is 8.0.9 a final release?

I am having the same issues. Version 8.0.8 was stable and then we upgraded to 8.0.9 and the CPU overloads and skips everywhere. opening the same file in 8.0.8 works perfectly but when opening it 8.0.9 it craps out. This is on 3 machines we have tested it on.
