Control Surface for 2 Macbook
Control Surface for 2 Macbook
Hey Guys !
We want to control 2 ableton session simulteanously with one MPD24. ( using midi )
But when we assign more than 2 buttons on the slave computer/session, there are on the same canal. (canal 1)
So we can't control more than one parameter.
Do you know why ?
Thanks, in advance.

Re: Control Surface for 2 Macbook
Sorry for the french sh***. It Roughly says that there is a conflict between the older and the new assignation.
It worked one time but don't know how...
We had 1/C1 and 1/C#1 assign on the two mac !

I think Ableton allows you to control many parameters with one single mapping (say a MIDI note or a CC), but not assign many controls (Notes, CCs) to the same parameter.

Hum, i'm not sure about it, because it's really 2 differents Computer and session, so it might be possible ! And we managed to do it one time !

Hello,
sorry, but it is not possible to use the same controller with 2 instances of Live running this way.
