What program is used most by the DJ's top to produce music?

hard to say but from my personal xperience the top 3 other than ableton are

Logic
Reason
FL studio

Protools and Cubase are in there but most peeps i know use the top 3

alot of people use multiple DAWs- ie Ableton rewired to Reason

or Ableton to create and then Logic to Polish up

The DJs Top? probably uses the reduced ironing spin cycle on 100c. Unless its woollen of course

Jody den Broeder uses Logic. He's a very hired commercial remixer, and his remixes have very good production values.

I think if you want Ableton to sound its best, turn warping off. These stretching algorithms are getting really popular, especially with djs. Maybe the convenience is worth it for gigging, but I think nearly all time stretching algorithms diminish audio quality.

Who are DJ'S ? Never heard of them.

And most producers use Logic, Cubase, Reason, Pro Tools, Sonar and Live. Other people use FL Studio, GarageBand, Audacity and of course, Window's Sound Recorder.

that's a question I've heard a million times. Most of the times I've seen them use Logic.
Don't know why really, I think Ableton is alot easier to use.
Guess Logic is just more "popular"
The reason why I use Ableton, is not because it's popular, but because I can sit in my living room working on something, and then on the same day use it on stage with my dedicated controller. I can use Live for anything!
That's something I feel that any other DAW lacks.
