I hear you, I would like to work 100% in Live, and mostly I do. It's when I have to really edit audio, or want to do heavy CPU taxing stuff that DP and Logic look good. I'm not a fan of porting audio from/to other DAWs though. It seems like I never set the tempo in Live to the tempo that was set in Logic and have Live's warp engine work without having to adjust every track by hand.SubFunk wrote: i feel the same... but i still have hope they can manage just a tiny bit... you know...
it sort of feels not right, Live is the only app that whenever an update comes it makes you feel like you need to go straight away out and buy the latest super computer at the same time you upgrade...
i am really in the boat of having less functionality in Live and a bit better performance.
but i know, i am on my own regarding that.
I actually work the opposite of what I hear most people do though, I'll start something in logic, then port rendered audio into Live, remix it maybe, then eventually take it back to Logic for mix down. Though last time I didn't do that, it was OK, but I think I'm going to be relearning DP as I really like the mix environment there, and MIDI editing is great in DP.
