I've been using a technique I stole from Tom Cosm for a while: splitting tracks into musical parts for greater control while DJing.
Several people have asked me to do a video covering this, so I've uploaded one at http://marshall-law.co.nz/2009/12/06/wa ... for-djing/
Basically, it lets you play the song at any important point, and play through the song in any order you wish.

great tutorial, I also arrange things in a Cosm-y way. I wasn't sure if I could be doing things better, but seeing how you do them helped re-affirm my methods. I did learn a few tips like clicking he length to focus on the waveform, thats awesome! thanks mate!
