Already there. Just drag your meters taller and your tracks wider, and you get:dysanfel wrote:19) Metering that shows db as a numerical value and holds to show max
The oval window is the peak level, and in the rectangle is the fader's current db value.
Re: My wish list for Live 9
I meant in Arrangement view.

Because when I want to email a rough mix to a friend I hate the wasted time bouncing, then opening itunes, then converting it, then drag it to desktop, blah blah.... Just convert to mp3 please or release SHARE!!!!friend_kami wrote:mp3 export?

Re: My wish list for Live 9
a better option would be to open share instead yeah. imo, they should focus on more important stuff then a stupid mp3 export.dysanfel wrote:Because when I want to email a rough mix to a friend I hate the wasted time bouncing, then opening itunes, then converting it, then drag it to desktop, blah blah.... besides, how hard is it really to get a free audio editor (audacity perhaps?), and convert via that?

I agree on these. I will add:dysanfel wrote: 2) A tuner

8. MP3 export
17) A spectrum display in EQ8
18) Bezier Curves for automation
1) Allow us to have the metering and track info in Arrangement view displayed ON THE LEFT. Ableton is the only DAW I have used that has the metering and functions for each track all the way at the end (on the right). That makes no sense to me. We work from left to right.
2) Also, in arrangement view it is impossible to see the current levels of the track numerically, and since all the track functions are TINY, and inaccessible (on the RIGHT), I always go back to session view to change pans/levels/solo...stupid.
3) Quick and easy Bounce in place or bounce to new track.
Re: My wish list for Live 9
Its not hard, just time consuming. Give me the option of saving 5 minutes of my life going through these tedious motions after every rehearsal. Let me just export to mp3.friend_kami wrote:a better option would be to open share instead yeah. imo, they should focus on more important stuff then a stupid mp3 export.dysanfel wrote:Because when I want to email a rough mix to a friend I hate the wasted time bouncing, then opening itunes, then converting it, then drag it to desktop, blah blah.... Please God, yes!dysanfel wrote:

It's pretty ridiculous, isn't it... Maybe we could have a pop-up meter, pan, solo, etc. window for the selected track in arrangement view. Although, I'd be surprised if that ever happened since it kind of goes against the whole Ableton ethos from what I can tell. If the Session and Arrangement views were detachable that would take care of this to a degree too, particularly if you have multiple screens.marcoskohler wrote: 2) Also, in arrangement view it is impossible to see the current levels of the track numerically, and since all the track functions are TINY, and inaccessible (on the RIGHT), I always go back to session view to change pans/levels/solo...stupid.
