Chrome Out for Macs
Re: Chrome Out for Macs
I use it on PC. It kicks IE's butt big time.

Sweet...Just got to work though, & all the computers here are PC's. Can't wait to check it out later. Been waiting for awhile now for them to release it. I just checked on it like a week ago---Thanks for the heads up!

Re: Chrome Out for Macs
It's been out for Macs at least half a year -> http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=114561
...but it was unstable as hell back then. Better now? Can you get stuff like adblock & noscript for it?

Re: Chrome Out for Macs
I heard it was out in beta. I'd like to try it as well, but I've been pretty satisfied with safari lately.

I tend to agree...curious as to what Chrome offers over Safari though - apart from a tighter intergration with everything Google?
Re: Chrome Out for Macs
it definately feels quicker to me anyway, getting less crashes on porn too

Re: Chrome Out for Macs
using the address bar as a search bar for me does it. it automatically picks up your searches as you type. its super quick, very clutter free. other than that it is just a browser, but i definitely think it is my fav over internet explorer, opera, safari and firefox.
Re: Chrome Out for Macs
thanks for posting this.. i've never used chrome, mainly firefox and after a few minutes or so browsing using chrome, I am switching.. might I add they have a Tiesto theme for Chrome.. sounds like a joke but it's not..
Re: Chrome Out for Macs
Chrome may be fast, but it ups Google's spyware behavior by monitoring everything you type into the address bar, not just into a google search field. If speed is what you desire, I suggest Opera.
