Impulse v Drum Rack?

Post by curlsta » Tue Dec 15, 2009 8:41 pm

Hi everyone I use drum racks a lot but haven't really used impulse much yet (apart from a few presets now and then). Can anyone give any advice about the differences and when one would maybe choose to use impulse over racks???

Cheers Amigos!

I think this has been covered a few times on the forum. Try the search function, hopefully you will find lots of opinions / debates.

yeah what he said, search.

Personally I like impulse better. I currently don't have drum racks.

The stretch and random settings are your friend.

I find the best thing with drumrack vc Impulse is the ability to put effects on individual samples.

true, it is very easy to send impulse cells out to individual tracks...
